Hi there everyone! Sorry i've been so scarce the last week or so.
Recovery from a c-section is harder than I expected.
Everything is going really well here.
So just a little insight, I was induced last tuesday as scheduled. Labor progressed fairly quickly but thanks to the epidural it was very easy. My little girl was stubborn though and had herself positioned to where she was face up and hitting my pelvic bone. we tried for about 5 hours to flip the little stinker, but it wasnt any use. We went in for the section at a little after 530 pm. I did have the epidural, but found out very quickly that they should have given me a spinal. I felt alot of pain. But luckily my little angel was born at 554 pm. She had the cord around her neck once, and had a little bruise on her forhead from hitting my pelvic bone, but other than that she was perfect.
Elizabeth is doing so great now, knock on wood. She is up twice at night to eat, and lays right back down to bed once she's fed. Breastfeeding has been a sinch and I couldnt ask for a better husband. Daisy is still adjusting, but is only really interested when she cries, which is hardley ever.
Thank you everyone for all the support and thoughts throughout these few months. Sometimes i still cant believe she's here and im finally a mom.
If you have any questions, please ask! lol I feel like a pro after just a week. Thanks again everyone!
