I have noticed that a lot of people choose real, raw diets for their dogs. I am not planning to switch completely, but I was thinking that I could add some real food to the kibble. But I need to know what is OK for a puppy's digestive system. I was thinking that tomight when Bull gets fed dinner, I could add some carrots and green beans in with his regular kibble (mashed, of course). Can I do that, or if not what is something I CAN give him? Thanks in advance, Kristl

Yes, of course you can, but start of with small amounts and keep an eye on his poops. Above earth/soil veggies can cause soft poops, below soil ones usually don't. Also, take away a little kibble with the replaced veggies otherwise he'll get too much in his tummy.

Please avoid giving him onions, rhubarb, grapes/raisins, all seeds from fruits, and others. There's a link above that mentions foods to avoid.

Good luck :). Enjoy your dinner Bull :).

Thanks, Black as Night. Now, should I cook them?

Raw/pureed is best because none of the enzymes and vitamins will be cooked out of them.
