Steph, we rented SuperdogCentral so yes, there was a pond, a dock and pool and agility equipment along with a huge fenced in area. The dogs and people had nothing but fun!

I know that mine were VERY tired. They missed their breakfast wake up call by almost and hour and a half. Sierra was toast and did not go outside when DH went to work at 5:30- that is the first time ever she did not go out with the others in the morning.

LOL! Mine were just as tired Julie. Brandy actually fell asleep while begging for a rib bone tonight :floor

Kiley has been sleeping the entire day!!!

Kas has been pretty relaxed (except for her little "incident" with the door trim at Julie's) and surprisingly mobile considering her little acrobatic stunt over the side of the pool on Saturday. Gotta love a tired dog!

Tired dogs? No one told Pippa. She went to Brighton and had a swim in the lake, then a play with two labby friends.

Eleanor, the joys of a puppy! It'll take a lot more than a labfest to wear out Pippa!

I am sure that we will do this again next year! Roscoe was so tired but so happy for days! He had to do some dock diving the weekend after, and we couldn't let him practice as he was just getting his energy back up in time for the event. LOL

Just keep an eye out in the Labfest forum (towards the bottom of the main page) that's where all of the Labfests are planned.

In terms of dog behaviour, I'm sure that as long as your dog is not aggressive towards other dogs he/she will be fine. They're too busy running/playing/swimming and tire themselves out.

I don't think they are regularly scheduled, just planned whenever is convenient for most people. If you check out the Labfest section, you can see the genesis of the meet.

:welcomewagon: We try to have a labfest once a year (though I don't believe we had one last year). We just post it in the labfest section and we work on the best location for everyone.

There haven't really been enough of us from eastern ontario to have an evet, but we can always try for a mini-one at a dog park sometime.

I have travelled two years now for the "ontario" lab fest, it was only about 3 hrs this year (last year was closer to 5 but I made a long weekend of it).
