Hey Penny, just e-mailed you an update for Onyx. Thanks again for trying to get the transport together for her. I know it's been hard to find people because of the gas prices being so high, but I've contacted Pam for the puppy bus. Onyx should be on her way to Charlene next week Thursday. Keep your fingers crossed.

Like I said before, Linda is not charging us a pull fee for Onyx. It's just going to cost the $100 for her transport. I'll take care of most of this or if anyone wants to help, please pm me.

It seems that MANY transports are beinghurt by the gas prices.

Hold on to your hats boys and girls. I might just have another change for Onyx. She might just be going on this transport below. I got a call from Susanna Richer who works with Joan from Marion Animal Shelter. She has two cancellations so Onyx could be on her way this Thursday. Boy they really want to get this little girl on her way. They are doing everything they can for her. Stay tuned.

I believe that Ranger is coming instead of Cowboy - but am still trying to confirm with Joan who does not know the names that Karen gave the dogs on Petfinder (LOL) - same breewd & size -Cowboy's brother. Will confirm - but think it looks like this for me now.

YAY for Onyx! The sooner the better!

Just got an e-mail about Onyx's transport. She's on this week's transport headed to Charlene in Maryland.

Charlene, I pm'd you about this. Please let me know as soon as you can if you can pick her up late this Friday night or if this is going to be a problem. You need to call Joan at the Marion Animal Shelter as soon as possible. She wants to talk with you about Onyx. Her number is 870-391-1145. I know this is short notice, but I didn't find out for sure until this very minute. You can call me too. I left my cell phone number on the pm i just sent you. Crazy, crazy.

Charlene I just pm'd you the info for Onyx's transport.

Just got off the phone with Kyle Peterson. He's the transport driver. He will meet Charlene at the Petsmart in Hagerstown, MD. They should be there between midnight and 1 a.m. early Saturday morning. He will call me during the trip to let me know how things are going. Onyx will leave the shelter at about noon on Thursday. They will have Onyx's health certificate and shot records too.

Whew! I'm so happy we were able to get this transport done! Thanks to everyone involved.

Thanks Kirsten, this was a crazy one. Onyx will be at her foster home with Charlene early Saturday morning. Whew!
