Opal made her first ever hospital visit this morning and she was a good girl :thumb4:!

We took both Zoe and Opal to visit my Mom who is in the hospital, and Zoe being a Certified Therapy dog, did her pet therapy visit like a pro. Opal, on the other hand, was a bit nervous at first until she saw what Zoe was doing and followed her lead. Opal let out a big bark at the cleaning lady's cart, which of course was bad :nono:, but other than that she did good considering she was "in training" (she had a sign saying "in training" attached to her harness).

My Mom was thrilled to see her "girls".

Way to go Opal! You'll be a pro, just like your sister, in no time.

Thats terrific Lisa! It must be hard concentrating on two dogs so great job! Hudson wouldn't be great as a therapy dog but I think Gus has excellent potential...as soon as he grows up a little, lol.

Can you tell me what being a theraphy dog exactly entails? I mean I know the gist, but when you take your dog in what do you exactly expect of her?

That's awesome that you got to bring them in to visit your Mom and that Opal is learning from Zoe! (Hope your Mom feels better!)

Congrats Opal. I hope to be able to train Cheyenne to be a therapy dog!
