Well, LindaAcup helped in two ways..... she is a member of the Indiana Lab rescue, and she kept posting on the Acme Transport page about labs that were going to be put to sleep soon because they hadn't been adopted. That seems to help Linda, because everytime I followed one of your links, that particular dog had gotten adopted.... so, I went looking through the various shelters there, and when I saw the faces of these 2 adorable pups, they just said "won't you take me home with you ?' They were labeled as "not good with kids..... they bite." How can a 5 month old puppy be viscious ?? I really think they mistook the teething and puppy playfulness as viscious biting..... the pups are SO sweet and so lovable..... I also think they may have been mistreated by children. They DO bark at children when they see them.... to me, that only says they were mistreated ..... what else would you expect from them then ? But they are so sweet, and SO smart... they learned their new names in only 1 day..... they learned the command SIT in a day as well.... they have learned what NO means ..... they learn so incredibley fast..... I just cannot image someone giving these 2 up to a shelter that euthanizes........ well, I am SO happy we saved them.... with Lindas help, picking them up from the shelter and letting them stay at her place overnight, she transported them to a drop off point where MY sister that lives in Ohio met her, and took it from there. My sis drove nonstop 950 miles to my place with these 2 ! It started off kind of rocky though.... after 20 minutes on the road one of them poopied in the truck and tracked it ALL over the place !! She was having a BAD time of it !! After that one incident they were angels.... they ate and drank themselves crazy. They were very underweight, his hip bones and back bone were sticking out..... they were really dehydrated. I think they were depressed as well...... we have seen such an improvement in just 3 days...... they really DO seem appreciative of their new found home and big brother Sherman.... he loves playing with them....... I think this is just the beginning to a wonderful relationship with these 2....... thanks Linda for continually posting these desperate Labby stories...... it helps to get the word out that there are animals in need..... here are Charlie Brown and Ginger, in their new forever home...

How are they doing? Still good, I hope. Post more pics when you can. Did I tell you about the 5 pups I am fostering. Well, I only have 1 left, the other 4 have been adopted. This is the first nite this little girl puppy will be by herself. Of course, hubby and I are keeping her busy, loving her, holding her, spoiling her. I'm going to post pics asap.
