Has anybody used this food ??? My local store carrys it and the owner highly recommended it. It is Canadian made, baked, and is wheat free, corn free and soy free and No BHA/BHT or ethoxyquin.
Looks good and is reasonably priced, but I would feel better if someone had used it with good results.

My only concern was that it is chicken not chicken meal as first ingredient which means by the time the moisture comes out the chicken is further down on the list making oats the first ingredient. If you look at the fibre content it seems to reflect this. Other than this it seems to have a good variety of ingredients(vegies, fruit etc). I would try this and if your dog does well and it is readily available then that's great.Only other thing is you didn't list its calcium content. The general consensus on this board seems to be try to keep it to 1.5% or less. Sorry I have never used this one as I am from Australia but I would give it a try in my yellow lab who has no food allergies.

I've seen it, and even had a small sample bag that my dogs went nuts over the smell of, but we had to give it away. All of them have chicken allergies!

Looking back at the ingredients, I am wondering if it is a little grain heavy and lacking in meat protein.

Spoke to the manufacturer. Calcium content in the adult is 2.1% and the puppy is 2.5%. Do you think is too high ???

2.5% calcium is too much for growing puppies. Stay with 1.5 or below.
