anyone have any suggestions on peanut butter? i give Napoleon peanut butter in a kong almost everyday but I'm a little worried that i shouldn't be. Maybe DH is just scaring me and telling me his teeth is going to rot but maybe i should be giving him sugar free peanut butter? he doesn't need to go on a diet though. if anything , he could use a lil more meat.

i give the girls natural peanut butter, never alot though it gives them the runs :(

I give Maxwell sugar free, salt free peanut butter. It's nothing but ground peanuts. He gets it pretty often... no problem.

Natural peanut butter is fine. Make sure if you find a sugar free one, it's because there is no sugar added vs. them possibly adding artificial sweetner.

ok so - would they have to put "sugar" in the ingredient list if they add it?

I buy no special brand but DO look for one with one ingrediant - peanuts. Does that cover me or should I be look for more?

I put about a tablespoon a day in Rocky's kong (with kibble to fill) so I can't go too specialty but DO look for one with as few additives as possible.

ETA: Ok I just checked my jar - it says no salt or sugar added so the only missing thing is lack of pesticides (i.e. organic) ;) It is quite affordable as well so there are options!

all natural peanut butter, free of added salt and sugar, is pretty easy to find...
