Don't know if any of you are aware of this free photo editing software. I've been using it for a couple of years and it's the best piece of free software, in fact probably the best photo editing software I've used.
If you google 'picasa' you can get a free download, it's totally safe, owned by google so no ad or shareware or popups or anything.
Give it a go, you won't regret it:thumb4:

I have Picasa & it works great ....especially when I don't have the patience to figure out how to do the effects in Photoshop :emb:

I had Picasa on my old laptop but haven't yet downloaded on to this one.
It is really easy to use and def. worth looking into IMO

Although I havent used Picasa another free (open source) option is GIMP, which from what I hear is more comparable to Photoshop (along with the high learning curve).

I much prefer xnview over picasa as an image viewer. So much easier to use and it also does basic photo editing. Another popular one is irfanview but I still think that xnview is by and far the best one. One that is not as well known but also pretty good is faststone image viewer. All of these are freeware and work in vista.
