OK -- Just checked tracking on Finnair -- They are on schedule -- I leave from Cleveland tomorrow a.m. to Pittsburgh and back to Cleveland with my Kate's precious box of cargo, lol.

Good thoughts would be appreciated ;)

First snafu -- It wasn't on the truck. Dely tomorrow a.m. Sitting in a refrigeration truck on its way to Pittsburgh -- Why does this not surprise me??? Oh well, had to change the AI tomorrow and hopefully it will happen tomorrow instead of today, LOL.

I sure hope that it all works out Debi.

I know how excited you are for this to take place.

Keep us updated.

Can you drive somewhere to meet it so you get it today?

Julie -- No, it's on a refrigerated truck en route from NY to Pitt I told the trucking company to locate it and I'd drive and pick up my box. He said that wasn't an option -- the unfortunate part is the truck has other stops to make before Pittsburgh. Kate is being dropped off at the vet tonight and my son suggested driving to pittsbugh tonight and staying at a hotel -- That way, when it does clear customs tomorrow I can just leave first thing. I'm too upset to think straight right now, but I don't know if that's what I'll do or just plan on leaving tomorrow at 6:00 a.m. and wait for it. BELIEVE ME, the cargo company is not too thrilled with me right now  But the woman in Pittsburgh has been awesome -- She was so sympathetic when I finally broke down and just started crying. I'll keep you posted if I can.

Oh Debi, I am sorry this has not worked out as planned for you.

Could they not fly it closer to you than NY?

No, NY was actually the closest from Finland via Finnair. Let's just all keep positive good thoughts that it will still work out for us. Thanks for everything Julie --

Ah Debi, I hope it all works out. How frustrating it all must be. I know how much you have looked forward to this. Why can't something as natural as breeding, be simple!?

Ah Kate -- Because I had so many dreams with this breeding. I've waited 4-1/2 years for this. I have 3 years into Riley, another one of my dreams, LOL. Found the perfect match for kate and her pedigree. Can't stop crying but hopefully will still be viable tomorrow -- The lady in PA has been wonderful, she's called a few times today. And is making coffee for me in the morning because I will be there first thing anxiously waiting.
Again, thanks everyone for the good thoughts. I'll keep you posted about tomorrow.

All of the good thoughts must have helped. Left this morning from Cleveland to pittsburgh, box wasn't there yet, but received a call from the lady in the cargo office and it had just gotten there at 9:30 a.m. Picked up the paperwork, went to customs and that took a while, went back picked up our precious box and back to Cleveland. The motality was at 75% and they spun a nice pellet  Anyway, to make a long story short and there are some funny stories that happened along the way, the repro doc did a surgical implant and my dear, sweet Kate is lying at my feet. Four days restricted activity and let's do the fertility dance ladies:rolleyes::rolleyes:
