i have a question about grass saver pills...i would appreciate any feedback possible...we have a HUGE strip of grass (well it was grass) that is now dead from frequent visits from Jack when he has to urinate...i know it is normal for them to go in the same spot due to the scent and it wouldn't really bother us except for the fact that we share this land with a neighbor ( we live in a townhouse)...so we asked around and found these pills...they claim to be 100% gauranteed to stop yellowing of grass by lower the acidity in puppy's urine...Jack is 4 months old and the directions say 3 pills twice a day for two weeks and then once a day there after...does this seem like a lot for a puppy? Do you think it has any side affects? We have noticed NO change in Jack behaviorally or physically thus far...but i would feel better if someone who has experience with these pills could respond and put my mind at ease...thanx

forget the pills - go out and buy tomato juice. I saw this on Rebecca's Garden and it said to give 2 tablespoons of tomato juice a day and you will not have burn spots on the lawn - we have been doing that to both Zeus and Georgia and it works - not one even slightly yellow spot!! And trust me - it's a lot easier than trying to get pills down (probably cheaper too)

thanx for the advice, they are expensive...but there's no problem getting the pills down...he must think they are a treat cause he just eats them, although this is a dog that so far, will put just about anything in his mouth!!! lol...i will definately try the tomato juice

Taylor used to down a can of V8 almost every day, her poo turned red though. We thought it was blood but it was the V8...

on a semi-related note, a friend of mine eats incredible amounts of ketchup, so much so that I think his hair was blonde and NOW ITS RED!
