I was given some some samples today at a feed store. The main company is Purina Mills. I was reading the ingredient list and remember reading somewhere that the first 2 ingredients should be animal products. There is no wheat or soy in these products. I currently feed Ely Eaglepack large breed puppy right now. I know that a lot of you have much more knowledge about what foods are quality and I know that raw would usually be recommended, however, that just is not an option for me right now.

If you could look these over and let me know the pros and cons (in your opinions and experience) of each. Hopefully, I will be able to determine which is best for Ely. Thanks!

They both look good. The eagle pack has a higher calcium level than I'd like in a puppy food which is strange being that they are marketing it towards large/giant breed pups. If youre happy with what he's currently on, I'd stick with it :)

Thanks for replying to this post. I will probably wait until I switch her to adult food. I'm still not sure what I'll switch her to, but I guess I have time to do some research and figure it out.
Thanks again
