If it takes me longer than about 2-3 minutes to type out a thread, I hit submit and then I get the "you are not logged in or authorized....." message.
I have tried to start 3 threads in the past 2 days, and I couldn't do either of them. It seems to be "timing out" on me if I am not super quick about typing the message.
I am typing fast now and forgetting spelling errors just to see if this post works.

I have it set for 15 minutes to time a person out if they remain inactive. If you are sitting for shorter than that then it could be a cookie problem with your Internet Explorer.

Before we get into that try this:
At the top of the Board are 7 buttons, click the User CP one.
This takes you into your user settings for the board.
Then click "edit options" and make sure that both of these are set to yes:
Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies)
Browse board with cookies?

If they are not, highlight yes and go to the bottom and hit the button that says "Submit Modifications".
