I LOVE Project Runway & had watched in the summer but haven't seen it in awhile. :(

Kenley is just clueless. She really doesn't get why folks are annoyed by her attitude. I feel sorry for her- but I wish they'd sent her packing! I LOVE 50s style but I thought this show was about the NEW and EXCITING - not the old and redone. Oh well. Gotta give everyone a chance.

I love Leanne, her stuff is usually really unique. But I think that Jerell might take it...

I'm not really into fashion so I don't like one better than the other but I think this is the first year that there hasn't been one contestant that clearly stands out against the rest. I usually have it narrowed down to the top 3 after the first few episodes but I don't have a clue on this one.:rolleyes:

Yea, I did too. But her attitude is ruining it for me. I don't absolutely love any of their styles, I haven't seen much this season that "wowed" me.

I think they're all pretty boring personalities also. They tried too hard to be interesting sometimes, and create fake drama.

Yea. Jerrell has some really interesting stuff. Creative and new. But I like Leanne's stuff too. At first it looked like Leanne's stuff would all have the same little ruffly/pleated stuff on it but she's branched out some.

I agree- nothing has really thrilled me on this season. Wait- I take that back. There were a couple of designers that were booted that I really liked! Some of their stuff was very beautiful and wearable by those of us who are NOT runway models!! :-)

I like to watch it but there were very few of the designs that I really liked this season. I am the ones that always likes the stuff the judges don't. lol Guess I am not up on the fashion stuff. I just don't seem to the the pretty in some of the outfits the judges love.

Kenley is just a "B". But I thought she was very pretty when they did the makeover on her for the runway show.

I also agree that hasn't been anything really great this season. It's the first time that I don't have a pick to win or someone I want to win...none of them really stick out to me.

I can't believe the judges are making all 4 compete for Bryant Park- even Jerell, who won! So basically they are saying this last challenge didn't count and they're having a do-over. What's with that? Decisions may be hard, but isn't that why they have expert judges? Sheesh! I wonder if the producers made them stay with Kenley to ramp up the drama.

My vote's for Leanne. Jerell's stuff always just looks messy to me, Kotu always does the same jacket, and Kenley- see above, re hate.

Ha! Well of course you would be fighting your way through life with an attitude like that! Maybe she will watch the show and it will be a wakeup call. Can't wait to see the reunion show.

I think i would put my money on jerell. but i dont think you can really tell until you see what they make on their own, without the (sometimes ridiculous) challenges. Like last season, i really like that one guy until he made his whole collection out of human hair :huh:

Kenley - ugh! She was always laughing when other people were being criticized. I find her annoying and rude.

I think the last 4 designers always show in Bryant Park because of the timing of the show and when fashion week actually happens. It was earlier in September?

I haven't been that impressed with any of the designers this year. As far as "characters" go, I do like Suede. Or rather, Gail likes Suede. :D

Gail- I love your pic there! What is it about siamese breeds and labs that they just seem to bond together? I don't have a meesie right now and I miss the talking! We've always had silver tabby points or mixes and it seems like everyone wants the same thing!

As to the show- Jerrell's creations are very creative but not always well done. Korto has beautiful skills and her stuff is immaculately done- but sometimes boring. Leanne has some nice stuff and it's usually nicely done as well. Kenley's creations are beautifully made. BUT it will be very interesting to see who puts together a COLLECTION. It has to be well made and LOOK like the designers has stamped it with themselves. That challenge is one that many can't live up to so we'll see.

(Suede drove us CRAZY with his "suede this and suede that"! but he was nice.)

I really like the light purple/lavender dress that Jerrell had on tonights show. Have not seen it on the model yet but just hanging up I thought is was pretty.

WOW, definately not the three I thought would be going. Based soley on last nights showing, it was the best three.

What in the heck was Jerrel thinking with that flower pot on his models head:confused: That looked ridiculous!

You couldn't even see Korto's models face it was completly buried in all that pleating!

I haven't watched last night's episode yet (it's faithfully waiting in TiVo for me...) I'm at work today, and had some extra time, so I figured I'd go to the Bravo website to see if they post the full episodes, figured I could squeeze a bit in before work started for the day.
Well, on the FRONT PAGE of the site, it named the deisgner that got auff'd last night. Talk about a spoiler alert, sheesh.

I've watched all the seasons (or at least have followed them). I must not have a great taste in fashion, because the designers I like always go home. As for Kenley... I think she should have gone home already. That dress last week made her model look like a LIZARD. I mean, really. Im convinced that the producers tell the judges to leave certain people on the show until the end to keep the ratings (and drama) high.

Ok, I still am not a fan of Kenley's attitude, but I loved her wedding and bridesmaid dresses....crap, why couldn't she have done something sucky?

i love that about bravo, that they replay all their shows on the weekends. i missed the new real housewives too.

YES!!! I have always given her the benefit of the doubt - that it was editing but she is so full of herself. A one-trick pony! What about the college grad/job interview challenge? She didn't care one bit about what that girl wanted!

Nice to meet other people who like PR. It's my favorite show and I have three daughters who NEVER miss it!

We like to watch it. DH watches it with me! :-) Last night was a shocker! I can NOT believe that they had those three make collections over a few months, TOLD them the choice would be based on their collections, and then changed the rules when they got back to New York!! NOT FAIR. It was disappointing that they producers thought it would be acceptable to do that.

As to the choice- I wanted Jerrell to win but his stuff was a bit out there. The wedding dress was overdone and ugly with that gray stuff billowing out like smoke!! Korto's was totally overdone as well. Sad. Both dresses had the potential to be gorgeous!!! As to Kenley's looking like the other designers'- I think he must have stolen HER idea. She was working on it for a long time and has no access to that kind of runway show!!

I really liked what we saw of Korto and Leanne's collections. Can't wait for next week!!!

I'm so glad Kenley didn't win, but I admit I thought Kortu's collection was more interesting than Leanne's.

I actually liked alot of Kenley's designs. :o: I am glad Leanne won. She deserved it. I wasn't crazy about her collection but I guess if you figure in the whole season's worth of designs, then maybe they picked the right one. I guess her workmanship is just outstanding.

I'd like to know if the judges get an upclose look at the garments off camera before they make their decisions?

We both really liked Leanne's designs and thought she deserved to win. A lot of Kenley's looked like off the rack stuff. Her painted high neck dress looked just like one my mother used to wear to church. Korto's stuff was very interesting. I LOVED her colors. I hope to see more of both of those designers!

I am very satisfied with the winner. As long as it wasn't Kenley, I would have been happy with either a Leanne or Korto win.

Why don't the finalists practice their introduction speeches? All three were so stupid and giggly and high-pitched. I guess they can't all be as confident as Laura or Christian.

I really thought Korto was going to win...I really liked everyone's collections but I thought that Korto's was the most wearable for regular humans (i.e. not size zero sticks ;))

Yeah, I noticed Naima (I think that's her name) and Rachel "I die!" Zoe.

I thought Leanne's collection was the most cohesive, but it could also be considered boring. Korto had an interesting collection. I didn't like Kenley's collection - too garish. Plus, that comment "No, there's no other silhouette like this anywhere!" Yeah, whatever.
