Is it ok to give my puppy small peices of apple for training treats, keep reading to much liver is bad so I do not want to use that. Do I need to take teh skin off the apple? and is it ok if I mash small peices of bannana in his food? Bailey is 8 weeks old is this all ok?
Thanks
Apples, bananas and small bits of carrots are fine for training treats for puppies. I prefer that to too much liver.

Using fruit as a treat is ok and as long as the skin has been washed it is not the problem. The core of apples, pears and such are what is more harmful as they would contain any leftover chemicals from spraying.
You can also use some of their daily kibble ration and freezed dried treats such a liver or other organ meat can be used remember you are not supplimenting a whole meal with treats. We also use cheese and small pieces of chicken wiener.
