Hello everyone, just signed up, but have been lurking around for a while. Great site with great info.

I'm sure it has been asked a million times but I'm curious about the size of my pup. He was at the vet last week at 12 weeks and weighed in at 32 pounds. The vet said he looked great and was just the right weight for his size. But checking other lab puppy weights I could not find any info about the norm for that age. The vet said he is on the larger side, but that does not give me an idea where he fits in sizewise.

Just trying to figure out his adult weight.

Our girl was around 25 pounds at that age. She's supposed to weigh between 75 and 80 pounds for her height. She had been up around 90, but we've had her on a diet and now she's back to where she should be. A male is normally bigger, so think you can expect him to be in the 90 pound area.

Wow I think 32 pounds at 12 weeks is BIG !

I can't remember what mine weighed , and maybe I am way off, but I don't think they weighed that much , lol
Oh wait I have Terras records in my purse, on 8/20 she woulda been almost 3 months ( b-d is 5/24), she weighed 27.9 pounds , so I guess yours isn't big at all considering he's a he.

Terra is 7 months now and she weighs 65-70
Rufus is 9 months and we haven't weighed him lately , But at 7 months he weighed 70-75. ( I don't think he's gained much if any at all.)

I don't expect them to get much bigger , maybe fill out a little , although Terra really doesn't need too , Rufus does he's very lanky.
