Does anyone else watch this show? What do they think about this season? I'm glad they've kept the fast-paced dialogue and the witty jokes. I'm also loving KC at the convent (especially when she tells the Lord to forgive her because she's filing a report on all of her belongings that the poor people took). I'm glad they've given her more of a role, because she's amazing. :) What do you all think?

 I missed the last few episodes of last season, but I love this show. I love the dialogue and the way it is shot as well as the sets and costumes. It is almost cartoonish in the vibrancy of the colours. It kind of reminds me of the movie "Big Fish".

Love it!!! It's so different than anything else on TV right now, and all the actors are great!

I absolutely love the show it's one of my favorites! I love that Olive is in the convent too and the pig is just hillarious! I love the new season so far, a little upset that Chuck moved next door but it hasn't seemed to have affected her relationship with Ned so far other than adding a little spark of excitement back in to their progression as a couple...it just seemed like a bit of a step back. Over all though I love everything about the show, the narrators voice is just perfect for the show and all of the characters are just...well perfect!

I was wondering what was gonna happen when Olive returns. She has no belongings and Ned has an open space in his apartment. Meanwhile, her apartment is filled with Chuck's stuff. Or maybe live with the aunts?

I am also a fan of the show. It's quirky and silly and doesn't take much thought:) The narrator is Jim Dale, who narrated the Harry Potter audiobooks. That man can make the dictionary sound interesting with the way he reads!!!!

Oohh it would be fun if she went to live with the aunts!

When did it get cancelled? As in, this is the last season? Because there are still new episodes on now...

I really like it too.

I just did some research on it and according to everything I have read, it's in danger of being cancelled but it is not cancelled yet. I've heard we'll at least get to episode 13 if it does though, however true that is? It's on a 2 week hiatus but it will return Nov 19th and I think in that 2 weeks they're trying to find as much support as possible to decide one way or another. Nothing is definite yet.

Exactly...it's in danger of being cancelled. I don't think they've ordered more shows yet. However, their ratings were way up from previous weeks since stupid ABC finally decided to advertise for the show. Just keep watching, and hopefully we'll still have a quality show on TV! :)

This is an awesome show. When they made Olive and Chuck friends, Olive lost a little of her zing. I hope they bring that tension back. Great question!

Can someone explain this show for me? A "Dummy Guide to PD"?

I recorded a couple of episodes and started watching it but I'm confused.

The pie guy can bring people back from the dead for 60 seconds - correct? How did he get these powers? The intro doesn't really show how? Why does he sleep next to Charlie (is that her name?) with plastic separating them? Who are the other characters? The woman with the funny eye, and the blonde with the big t...eeth? ;)

Thanks!

Shayne

I don't recall that they showed how he got the powers, just that he discovered them when he was much younger.

They have to sleep with plastic because he brought her back from the dead. If he touches her again, ever, she dies forever this time, so they can never touch. (Once he brings something back to life, touching it another time kills it. For every life he keeps alive after 60 seconds, something else dies to take its place.)

The two women are her Aunt's. She lived with them when she was alive but they think she is still dead (they don't know that Ned can do what he does) so she can't let them know she's alive.

I finished watching the episode last night and it made a lot more sense now that I have an idea of what's going on.
