I am currently feeding my 15 week old female chocolate lab(Beans) Science Diet Natures Best puppy food. She really seems to like it but I just want to make sure that this food is okay for her. She has been on it for about 4 weeks now. I want her to be healthy so it concerns me. I am pretty new to this and I don't know too much about all the different foods and what should be in them and shouldn't but I've been trying to read and learn as much as possible. I haven't seen to much discussion on here about this food and tried to search and didn't find much either. I know everyone is going to have there own personal preferences and opinion but any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason

Most of us do not really like anything from Hill's Science Diet. Heres' why -

Science Diet Nature's Best Puppy Ingredients (only questionable ones listed)

Brewers Rice (should have whole grain rice instead - grain should never be listed 1st)
Ground Whole Grain Wheat (allergin)
Soybean Meal (another allergin)
Animal Fat (should be more specific - such as "chicken fat")
Corn Gluten Meal (already too many grains - gluten means glue)
Fish Oil (which fish?)

There are a lot better foods to feed your pup. Here is a great website where you can learn about what should and should not be in dog foods. It also lists ingredients of most dog foods, so you can learn about the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Hope this helps.

I feed Charis Diamond Large Breed Puppy -- Lamb & Rice.

She's doing very well on it.
