Adorable medium momma and pups, mom is about 30 lbs, pups are about 2 weeks old, there are 7 of them. Mom is very willing to let you handle the pups. They were found at a house and they were not being taken care of. Someone brought the mom in, and then someone else from the neighborhood brought the pups in the next day. Mom was so happy to see her babies that she was crying and shaking when we reunited them! Times up 2/22.

Hailey's Mom 02-18-2009, 08:27 PM She must have been so excited to see her babies, poor girl was probably worried and looking for them all night. Glad they are reunited!
BUMP for this little family.
KellyinCA 02-18-2009, 10:03 PM Bump for them all!
Robinpow 02-18-2009, 11:34 PM Along with mama and pups there are 6 more pups with out mama who are out of time also at the same location!
I was willing to help with the little family a few weeks ago that were in danger, but luckily a local rescue group there stepped up to the plate and rescued.
Can do the same here. Can take and short term foster mama & babies until weaned, but MUST have people ready to do foster or adopt lined up first.
The old saying, don't bite off more than you can chew, is very true. I'm simply out of friends and family who are willing to add any more fur kids to their family. And our home is full. However will make room for short term.
"Litter of 6 (one is not pictured here) mix pups. The little one in the front is the run and has no left eye—a birth defect. They are about 6 weeks old, well-socialized, and happy-go-lucky little pups. Times up 2/21. All must go together."

Buddy's Mama 02-19-2009, 10:01 AM Thank you!! That is so kind!!!
Mom was so happy to see her babies that she was crying and shaking when we reunited them! --this just kills me!!
Robinpow 02-20-2009, 10:51 AM Sent an email to them yesterday, but no response. Just sent another one.
Game plan... If the locals can't handle, pull the 6 pack of pups and the family!
Willing to share the wealth folks, any one willing to take a pup or two?
I'll foster the family until the pups are weaned, but then everyone will need a home or at least foster.
Carrelabs said she would take them, however that means they would have to be transported to Calf.
This is enough, for me to jump in, but it would sure be nice to share the wealth and maybe a bit closer to AR.
Easter is just round the corner. Any one of these pups would look cute in a big basket with a bow around the neck... the perfect give for your spouse. LOL
knine 02-20-2009, 11:01 AM they are all darling - thank you for all your efforts and to margie too
Robinpow 02-20-2009, 12:43 PM Just got a reply from Greenville County Animal Care Services. It was short and sweet....
"All already rescued"
It feels so good not to be needed. :D
GrafixMuse 02-20-2009, 01:13 PM Robinpow, specifically are "momma & pups" and "litter of 6" rescued?
I have an email to them also requesting an update but I haven't heard back yet.
