URGENT.....Hi, my name is Savanna. I’m at Levy County Animal Services hoping to be adopted in the next couple of days. The kennels are filling up and we’ve heard the next euthanasia day will be Tuesday, Feb. 4th. I’m trying to be brave and keep my chin up. Miss Jody came in to my kennel yesterday to see how I was doing….she gave me a hug, a kiss on the head, and told me to hang in there. She was telling me about a poem called “Just a dog”…..she shared some of it with me…..she said she wished that someday people would understand I’m not “just a dog”…..that I could be the “hopes and dreams of the future”, the “fond memories of the past”, and the “pure joy of the moment”…..She told me that I bring out the “good in people” and help erase the “worries of the day”…..She said I’m the very spirit of “friendship, trust, compassion, and patience” that makes her a better person…..She’s hoping someone will see my face, look in to my eyes, and realize…..I’m not “just a dog”…..Please help save my life and call the shelter at (352)486-5138…..
