Hello all,

As some of you know, I have had my own share of food issues with my gang. Fortunately, I haven't has as many issues as some, but still enough to have to visit this forum quite frequently.

Anyway, I have finally found a great food for my group, Royal Canin Natural Blend. I have gone from feeding three different types of food to one brand, adult and puppy formula, that work for all of them. Now, there is not so much of a panic about giving the wrong bowl to the wrong dog! I've been on this food for about 3 weeks now, and have noticed great things. Timber's ears have cleared, and she does not shed nearly as much as before. Kodiak and Gypsy have not had upset tummies at all, they are shiney and flake free, and there is very little mess in the dog run! They also do not have the terrible gas that could make your eyes water!

The best part is that this food is reasonably priced, and they only require 3-4 cups a day. I have determined that my problem must have been corn content, as this food is corn free.

I know that this food may not work for everyone, but I thought I would share my review in case others are contemplating this brand. I did try the Royal Canin Maxi 32 as well as the Royal Canin Lab 30, but I still had issues with those particular foods. The Natural Blend is a big improvement.

My only warning is that the puppy food is a very small kibble, smaller even than cat food kibble. My two eat is slowly, without issue, but this is something to think about if kibble size is a concern with your dog.

FYI - they are changing the name on the new bags to Sensible Choice!

Thanks!! I've actually been looking at changing Sammi's diet - her skin seems to be a little flaky and she's always scratching (no fleas though) The vetshop suggested this brand - I'm going to get one soon - to try it out.
