As this is my first labbyboy, and this is our first shedding season, I have a question for you all long-timers. Is it normal to see an increased amount of dander during this time of year? At times his coat looks absolutely lovely, but at times, it looks grey and flakey! I don't know if I am working his coat over too hard with the zoom groom and causing the flaking or if that is part of it. Just noticed this in the last few days....no changes to anything, diet, etc, and no bathing (except around his face when he ate that dead fish).

Yes it is normal. Just keep brushing. It will usually start to clear up as the coat comes back in.
