I bought the book "Three Dog Bakery" and just made these bones.
They were VERY EASY to make and Harley and Moose LOVE them.

Here's the recipe:

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup natural peanut butter
1 cup skim milk

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a bowl, combine flour and baking powder. In another bowl, mix peanut butter and milk.
Add wet mixture to dry, and mix well.
Turn out dough on a lightly floured surface and knead. Roll out to 1/4-inch thick and cut out shapes.
Place on a greased baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool on a rack then store in an airtight container.

Yumm they sound good. We will try them and let you know how the kids like 'em.

I made these last night - I used regular unbleached flour though and since I didn't have peanut butter and it's 10 below zero here and I wasn't going out in the cold to the store I substituted bananas instead. Turned out great - the dogs love them. I just cut them in circles and some I did with my heart cookie cutter.

Cool.....Banana bones :)

I used a heart cookie cutter too. Ours are almost gone and I will have to make some more soon.

Thanks so much for this recipie! I just made them for Kona for her b-day tomorrow. I used half the peanut butter and half bannana babyfood with some honey mixed in. She loves them! (I just let her 'sample' one, the rest are for tomorrow) I used our big bone cookie cutter and made one for each of her friends and the little bone cookie cutter to make plenty for her to snack on :) Thanks!!
