What the heck is going on with this dog. For the last week, Miss Sadie has refused her breakfast (1 c Canidea ALS + 1/4 c Canidae wet lamb in broth mixed). She'll eat it later, like in the afternoon if I set it aside, if I don't Miss Dixie will take it lol. Miss Sadie will gobble up the same serving at dinner time with no hesitation.
She's just shy of her 1st birthday. Is she just going through some weird almost 1 yr old doggie stage? Her stools are fine, she's happy and bouncy. She just won't eat in the morning.
Any ideas? Like I said she's eating, just not in the morning. If anything I'm just curious.

Maybe she doesn't want breakfast :)
How many meals a day are you feeding her? Some dogs do better on one meal per day...

LOL my husband said maybe she is just taking after my diet. I rarely make time for breakfast for myself lol.
She eats 2 times per day. Once in the morning, once in the evening. This has been the norm since she came home to us in July 08.
I did move her kennel last week. She was on the right, and I switched her to the left, and moved them both over about 4 feet to make room for my treadmill. She seemed a bit annoyed by that. And she is smart. Do labs protest?

At a year old, dogs don't need as much food as during rapid growth. Isn't the Canidae a fairly high calorie food? You might cut back a little. Most Labs will eat more than is good for them, and look for more. There are a few that will keep themselves lean. As long as her ribs don't start to show, let her eat a little less.

Is there a particular calorie count an adult lab should be consuming? Each dog consumes 1098 calories per day (divided into two meals). Each dog walks twice a day, plus whatever the heck they do in the back yard to trample my grass lol.

There are far too many variables to give a figure. If your goal is lean and healthy, check http://www.longliveyourdog.com/twoplus/RateYourDog.aspx

Well she's also avoided dinner. She's her normal hoppy jumpy self with the exception of showing no interest in her food. She did show interest in my supper though, go figure. And enjoyed a milk bone. She's taking in water, stools are fine. I'm just going to call in tomorrow for an appointment with her vet.
Could be the food, could be something worse. I'm no expert so I'll just take her in.
Thanks all.

I tend to panic when one of my Labs doesn't eat. Part of it has to do with most of mine being the typical food inhalers. If this is a sudden change, then the vet is the best idea. Looking back at your original post, I am not sure why I didn't see it a sudden change. Perhaps that it had gone on for a week.

A Lab going off food is a concern. Even if you may possibly need to cut back a bit I don't see that causing her to not want any breakfast.
Glad you are having the vet check her. Keep us posted.
