Yes, yes, yes, yes!!! I have an excellent spot for a playdate, but I don't know how many would be willing to drive to Los Angeles. It is an enclosed area about 2-3 acres of grass and trees and picnic tables. It's where Shane and I walk every morning and the name of the park is Whittier Narrows Recreation area. It's right off the 60 freeway with plenty of parking and room for 50 dogs! If this is too far, then I have no problem destroying Lynn's flower bed again!!

Looks like the boys are outnumbering the girls! I just found out I cannot attend. DD is scheduling her auditions for that day for the University of Redlands school of music--I'd like to go with her. We went yesterday for a campus tour--beautiful campus, but she was totally amazed at how small the undergraduate class is (2500). She's also applying to USC--what a difference that would be!

Since I will be in OC that weekend I will probably try to have my sons first bday party that weekend. Then I wont have to make a seperate trip and his actual bday is on SUperbowl Sunday, and with our family running a Sports bar, we definately will not be celebrating bdays that day.

Mmmm....We are finishing up the cans someone gave us for Christmas of Cougar Gold cheese (one Gold and one Viking) as we "speak!" :thumb4: Cheese and apples is one of my favorites, and our wine cellar is getting more and more stocked, between wine.com and our new wine-of-the-month club memberships. :brow: I'll have to get in on this, too. If there are more people visiting, we have a couple of guest rooms, too.

I always find something new that I like and have to buy. The problem is, I rarely get around to drinking it or I save it for a special occasion.:D So, it just keeps piling up. All my racks are full so it's starting to pile up in the pantry. DH saw it the other day and said, "You're not buying anymore until some of this disappears!":o:

My neighbor redid his house to accomodate a walk in wine cellar and after seeing that, DH wanted me to give up my coat closet to make one himself (one of those temp controlled ones). I said no and compromised by giving up section in the butler's pantry...so now I have a big wine frig with I don't know how many wines and I keep wondering when we get to drink them.

I was thinking I could bring drinks(a variety for everyone) and Death by Chocolate (nuts and no nuts:p:) cookies. Snacky potluck sounds good to me. Who ever is still coming, can you please PM me for directions and all that good stuff. There is a $4/car parking fee. Lynn, I can bring the plates and stuff. I have tons left over from last summer BBQ's. I can't wait to see everyone! I met a nice couple at the park yesterday with two labs and invited them to come on down!
