This week Stanley and I got to take a nice lunchtime walk during one of my "in office" days. Stanley wasn't satisfied with the views from the parking lot that we shared last time because he really wanted to show you some of the sights in downtown Toronto.

I was surprised to see that the new home of the Canadian
Opera Company was nearing completion. I didn't even know this
was just down the street from my office. Stanley enjoyed the
late summer flower gardens on University Avenue.

There were 2 bicycle cops who just loved Stanley. They let him
sit on the bike and he got to wear his cap.

I went took the underground route back to the office. You can travel for miles under the city. It's great in the winter. Some downtown dwellers can leave their homes and travel to work without ever stepping outside. Stanley got a little lost in the underground path. Luckily, there are signs all along the way.

That was so nice of the policemen to let him sit on the bike and try on the hat...too cute. (Little did they know that he had entered Canada illegally...imagine poor Stanley cooling his heels in jail till he was deported!)

I live in Buffalo and I have to Toronto several times. What great pictures! You have a beautiful city and it looks like Stanley loved it!

Nope! But he told me about the stuffed lobster they have back in the office. It seems their lobster goes on regular vacations around the world. The owner never knows when the lobster might disappear or where it's going until he returns back in the office and pictures are posted.
