Thank you for sharing this :) After reading all the posts about Cookie and Coco I am relieved to know that they in fact really existed and found a new home.

Good to know the story behind all those emails. How generous for the new owners to include their old family in their lives still.

Wouldn't it be nice to get the list of people offering to adopt to a rescue. Wish the response was always like that.

I have nothing to do with these dogs and can't tell you how many times I've received their msg! There were people saying the dogs were coming from ME, GA, NC, SC, IN, AZ, TN, FL...etc. One emailer even had the specific location in upstate NY - down to the number of stoplights to go thru once you take a certain exit at mile marker...

When all the while, they had already found their new furever in Southern CA - where they're from!
