Cooper has had loose stool since coming home from the breeder, which in the last day or two turned watery and had mucus in it. We then took him to the vets this am ... he was put on antibotics. As the day went on he vomitted twice (pretty much after each meal) ... needless to say I have been pretty upset. By this evening he was drinking, but refusing his food. As a last ditch attempt we tried some of the wellness puppy we were planning on switching him too and he ate it. Could all of this be related to the food he was eating? My vet and breeder don't seem to think so but it seems so related to when he has eaten. I have read here that dogs often have reactions to wheat and corn which are both in Cooper's current food.

I think you posted somewhere else that the pup was tested neg. for Parvo and the vet's checking for other things...

Is the poop dark and runny, mucusy and awful smelling? Maddy had ghiardia at about 12 weeks and that's what we saw from her until it was cleared up. YUCK! If you think normal poop smells bad, this stuff was 100x worse!!!
