I am new to this site and have been browsing around for some info. I have a couple questions as a new lab owner. My 6 month old black lab pup does not eat very consistently. Sometimes he'll eat his whole bowl in the morning in an hour other time he takes a few bites while I'm there and then be done and follow me around the rest of the morning and not eat anymore. I put him in his cage when I go to work and when I get home he will sometimes eat half of that bowl and not eat anymore till the next morning. Other times he'll eat the bowl and want more so I give him another and he eats that in a fair amount of time. Is this normal? He seems to only eat when he feels like it. Also I have noticed many of you feed your labs food I've never heard of I have been feeding Coal what the breader was feeding him when I bought him (Beneful Healthy Puppy) should I look into different foods? Like i said I'm new to this and want to do the best for my puppy.
