View Full Version : Sylvia-Saved by Lab Friends of the South
Karen519 10-08-2006, 04:04 PM She went to an Adoption Day today. The Rescue says she did pretty well, but she's very scared-she may have been beaten.
Sylvia might be part Lab, and part Chesapeake Bay Retriever, maybe part Viszla. Still waiting to hear how old she is.
Isn't she BEAUTIFUL???

Lovemylabby 10-08-2006, 06:35 PM Thank you Karen for the update on Sylvia. Poor girl, I am sorry to hear the she is so afraid...:( It is sad to think that she was mistreated, but hopefully she will learn to trust again once she gets adopted into a loving home.

labfriendinfo 10-12-2006, 09:15 AM I am with Labrador Friends of the South. Sylvia is doing great. Within 30 minutes at the adoption she was already wagging her tail and going around to people to get petted. She is now in a foster home and she is opening up. She was even already housebroken. She is now in good hands. Her current foster family will only be able to foster her for another 2 weeks so if you live in the Atlanta area and would like to help and foster her go to www.labradorfriends.com and complete the foster application.

Just got an e-mail from Jenny, of LAB FRIENDS OF THE SOUTH, the wonderful Lab rescue In Georgia, that pulled Sylvia from the kill shelter in Georgia.
Sylvia has been ADOPTED!!! Sylvia's new family is picking her up TONIGHT!! IT TOOK A COUPLE OF MONTHS, but it looks like Sylvia and I and all of us, WILL HAVE ALOT TO BE THANKFUL FOR THIS THANKSGIVING!!!
