It looks like we may be having our very own, Mrs Lisa Labfest in April!!!! She is planning to come to Texas and will likely be staying in the Dallas area and would love to meet everyone! The tentative date will be Saturday, April 15th. Should we plan something at one of the dog parks along with a couple of other fun things to do???? Ok you guys, jump in here! We will need ideas about where she should stay too. :cheers2:

It's technically Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday is a big training day for all that are going to trial their dogs who come in from out of town and Sat/Sunday all day long is the actual trial. :)

If yall can't come down I'll see if I can come up Thursday if Morgan is off school on Friday-that is Easter Weekend so I think she will be. THEN I can party/hang out Thursday night and drive home wishing I was tucked away nicely in bed to rest a hangover. :biggrin:

Admittedly, I LOVE to dance and country music is a lot of fun to dance to! If we can find a good place to go I'll dance my butt off! Both of you need to prepare yourselves though, Texas men will ask you to dance and enjoy it--just let them know up front that you're "married", "not available" etc. and they'll just appreciate the dance(s). We're gonna have sooooo much fun!

Okay, I hate to be a downer on the whole driving to Houston thing, but I just did Houston and back in 24 hours from yesterday to today and the drive is BRUTAL! Four hours down and four hours back b/c we live so far north of Dallas! 8 hours in a car in one day is NOT fun--at least not for me. Not to mention the rush hour traffic we got stuck in on our way back to Dallas. We just got back from this whirlwind trip and I am absolutely exhausted. I just don't think I can do that again. I'm sorry, y'all. I hate to be so lame but I think we'd have to sit out on that adventure.

But please let me add that if you guys all want to plan a road trip down there, please go ahead and do so! Just b/c y'all are staying with us Lisa and Sarah, that doesn't mean you have to do what WE say! LOL! This trip is all about you guys so if you want to go to Houston, don't let my lame butt stop you! We'll still be here when you get back! LOL!

We've done that drive too, and it is a whip. If that's going to remain an option, the better idea would be to go spend the night in Houston Thursday night. I'm not suggesting that's a good idea, just saying it would be the best thing to do if the majority decide to go. I will probably not be able to go anyway, since we're going to my parents on Saturday night, I will likely be helping with things down there on Friday.

Yep, and preferably Love Field instead of DFW, although I think DFW is closer to Allison's house. You might double check with her in case she has a preference. Love is much easier to get in and out of!

Houston Hobby (HOU) and Austin (AUS) are options on Southwest unless you are committed to seeing the DFW clan. Or try JetBlue, they just started nonstops between Austin and Boston Logan.
