I can't believe the Vikings are in jeopardy of not getting a new stadium an losing their team and Lions are still an organization.
We have gov't sponsored football gambling in Canada. I put a small bet on all of the longshots to cover the spread this weekend. Not a big payout but some beer and gum money.
The Lions were the only ones that couldn't keep it at least half decently close. Unreal. Never again will I bet them.:mad:

Sorry, Woody. They're a terrible football team. I must say, though, their offense looked pretty decent. Their defense still sucks.
But hey - the Vikings are going to be tough! I have AP on my fantasy team and he pretty much single-handedly won the game for me.

Sorry Woody. Don't be super fast to let go of the Lions as your long shot bet though. I bet on them every year (not to win); more often then not the other team actually doesn't cover the spread against them. They put up a lot of points against the Saints who many have picked as the team that we will see in Miami. I lost money on them this week as well but I will keep taking them against the spread. Congratulations on the other long-shot bets, I wish that Oakland had actually won but I will take the "betting win" and it was nice to see them come out and actually play football!

So Coach... um.... I can't help but notice that yer Vikes are 10 pt favorites over the Lions this week.....
It is with some sense of anticipation that I wait to see yer pick in that one. :brow:
