OMG..Lula Belle was my grandmother's name (who raised my in the mts. of Tennessee...I worshipped her) It's a sign!

Okay, we need to come up with a plan to get Lula Belle for you then Trish. I'll keep your DH occupied while you sneak her into the house, or bring her to my house for a while and I'll drop her off and it will look as if it's a stray walking up to your house. He'll let you have her then, right? ;) We can figure this out.....you were right with Vader and you are probably right now. Go with your gut sista!!! I'm sure I wont be far behind you! :p:

April Jean. We have 5 dogs but we also rescue horses so, financially, we're pretty "booked". But, of ocurse, we have the room for more dogs and it's hard not to let that fact overshaodw the money part when you see a pup in dire need.

And so many are in dire straits........*sigh

April Jean.....Is there any news on Lula Bell or Rocketman, please? I can't get Lula Bell out of my mind...............

Rocketman was adopted, Lula Bell is still waiting, poor thing! Can any of you take another dog? I will find a way to get her to wherever you are!

If anyone is interested in Lula Bell, they can call the pound to get information, I just crossposted her. According to the petfinder information, it sounds like she is a gentle, well-behaved dog. The other dog sounded more like a handful, Rocketman. At least he got adopted.

Lula Bell is just beautiful...

I e-mailed a couple of Lab rescues in Ohio for Lula Bell.

They say she is so sweet.

Sometimes trying to help save them gets VERY DEPRESSING.:brow: :brow:

My heart just breaks for Lula Bell.

She looks so sweet and sad!

Just e-mailed her picture and info to a friend of mine in Ohio.

Lula is a gorgeous dog.......just beautiful.

They are still sending emails with Lula Bell. I hope she gets out, she is a well-behaved, beautiful dog.

I just received an email, that Lula Bell must be rescued by Friday (tommorow)will be put to sleep.:confused: Why hasn't anyone adopted this beautiful, sweet, and calm girl?

Notes: Hershey came to us as a stray. His past medical history is unknown. Hershey seems to be a fdog with a long past history of not being treated so well. He is missing a toe on his back paw. Hershey is a purebreed chocolate lab. He is very playful. He is good around other dogs as well. Hershey has fur missing from his tail. He is not neutered and no one has claimed him. Notes: Fievel will be up for adoption on Wednesday January 31, 2007. Fievel was picked up as a stray running with Lily. Fievel is a breed that I am not aware of or just havent heard of it yet. His tail is cropped like a pointer. So he may be Cur/ Ponter mix. He is very skinny and needs a good fattening up. I am guessing he is still young. He is short haired blonde in color with a small patch of white on his nose. He loves to play outside in the snow. He walks well on a leash.
