Present and accounted for. :D Just a little over my 6 month mark...and cruising right along. :) Doctor is a bit concerned because Im measuring (tummy wise) small, but the baby seems to be alright.....and that my weight gain is somewhat low. Otherwise Im good to go. ;)

Bought the crib bedding set last night....SO excited. :)

Whose next? :)

I just had my 12 week mark on Saturday..I go in to the dr. a week from tomorrow...I have been feeling nauseous, but haven't gotten sick...truthfully, I have been feeling pretty gross...hungry but some things just make me sick to even think of them...normal, I guess?

Me? I guess I am next. I am over 39 weeks and 1 day. Just a few days to go. Feeling REALLY tired and REALLY crabby. My hands are swelling too ( at least there are no "cankles"). And we have not settled on a name. I feel like I am carrying a bowling ball instead of a baby!!

My wedding ring was small to start with. I think I am gonna have to have it reset as I already had it resized. I try not to complain too much. But at this point, the wind blowing wrong can **** me off. My two poor kids!! I'm such a mean mama now!

Irritable huh? ;) Im nowhere near your time frame - but can TOTALLY sympathize. ;) With my second I was such a grump my husband told me (and everyone else who would listen :roll2: ) that he was going to move out for the first 3 months of my pregnancy next time. I was totally easy to deal with this time around - but Im betting dollars to doughnuts that Ill be cranky in the end. :floor

You're not a bad mama....you're totally normal.

update:
I started to spot my first OB appointment thank goodness everything was ok and I was told not to do any crazy stuff for that week. Well I took Monday off *cough* *cough* but it turned out to be a blessing because I started to spot again & it turned out I had a UTI. OB put me on meds right away and now if I can only seem to stay awake with them (one of the many side effects) but its better than the alternative. The OB am now seeing in just incredible...she says ok, lets hear the babies heart beat...she gets so excited. :floor Now if i can only get my fertility doctor to send the paperwork we will be set.

Hey ladies I am just at 25 weeks or 25 weeks 2 days depending on who you ask:eek: . I am going tomorrow for another cervix check to make sure I am still closed and no funnelling. This will be my fourth appointment this month (got to love being high risk).

I have been having a lot of back pain-wonderful-I have been having kidney issues. . blah blah blah. And I am measuring 2-3 weeks ahead:eek: I will ask about that on thursday's appontment. Maybe able to get a full u/s:D that would make about my 10th.

I have been the subject to rude comments by strangers
"Oh my god look at that lady she is SO HUGE"
"So you popping that one out soon?" umm no I have three more months left
"What are you going to do when those clothes get to small?"

LOL when I was pregnant with Kristopher people used to say those sorts of things to me. One day when I was in not such a great mood (hips started coming apart) this woman said "oh you must be about 14 months pregnant!" I looked at her and said "What? I'm not pregnant." her face dropped and she walked off. I bet she NEVER said crap like that to another woman.

THIS is one of those reasons behind why I rarely ask other women how far along they are. Im petrified Ill ask a woman whose NOT PG. :floor

I, too, had that with my 2nd DS.....I ballooned out and FAST with him, I got more comments of "You're having twins right Oh good lord honey - are you overdue?" I heard lots of when was I getting enduced comments too. :roll2: This time around Im measuring little.....my tummy measures 1 - 2 weeks smaller than the baby is. :emb:

I dis that to someone this weekend. A friend of my husbans's who I haven't seen in years was like "Oh when are you due?" I was like " What are you talking about? I'm not pregnant...." You should have seen his face. He was like "Seriously, please tell me you are pregnant, bc I feel like such an A-hole right now." Me: "Yeah, I'm due in 8 days..." I laughed a lot. Fun to mess with people. Now ask me me same thing two months after I deliver and you're getting a right hook....

I guess I'm last to check in! 34 wks 5 days. Nurses got me undressed for my Strep B and the MD was like, why are you undressed? Apparently she didn't want to do it 2 days early, so I'll have that experience next time.

She felt the bottom of my belly and said that she thought I've got a big boy in there. She then did my fundal measurement and said that I'm still measuring further along than my due date (this is the 3rd visit in a row for that).

So, she asked if I was comfortable for my next visit in 2 weeks and I was, she said that at that visit she'll be giving me the form for another sonogram to check him out and see where we "really" are.

So, now I'm nervous, I was thinking he would be late - early April, now I'm scared that he's going to be earlier than my due date. Not that we don't want to see him sooner, but just wasn't planning on early. Even though I did think that I conceived earlier than they said.

OUI! Just need to get through this GIANT project that my customer pushed from 1/29 go live to 2/28 go live to now 3/5 go live.....it's made for SO much more work and stress on top of this news tonight from the MD!!!

Guess I should wait 2 weeks to see what really is going on....

Can't even spend more than 15 minutes sorting through the stuff from my shower without getting overwhelmed. We still have so much more to buy for the little man.....

Sorry I'm so late in checking in, I just got home from work. :) I'm 8 weeks or 8 weeks and 5 days. Every time I go to my doctor, the due date keeps changing. My next appointment is going to be on Friday and this time we are going to do a ultrasound to see how far along I am. :) As for how I'm doing. I'm doing great, except for the occasional low back pain. Mostly due from me standing for 10 hours at work. :( So far, the past few days haven't been to bad, I've been working in a different area in the pharmacy which allows me to sit down most of the time. :)

I'm also starting to buy little things for the kidney bean. Here's a quilt I bought from ebay. I plan on using it as a floor blanket. :)

I'm here, too. I'm 9w2d and still on restricted activity due to a subchorionic hemmorhage. I found the heartbeat w/ my doppler yesterday but today haven't had any luck. I'm cramping a lot this evening, feeling like I could "start" at any moment. So I keep running to the bathroom to 'check'.

I have never been so exhausted in my whole life as I have been with this pregnancy. While pregnant w/ my son, I still worked, went to school and agility training w/ Olive and I still wasn't as tired as I am this time! I don't have another appointment until March 1st and I'm looking foward to it.

Tomorrow I will be 11 weeks. I have a doctor's appointment on Friday. Since switching my vitamins I have not been as nauseated so that's a good thing. I'm still extremely tired, but hopefully that won't last too much longer. We finally told our families this weekend. They were extremely excited. This will be the first grandchild for my parents.

I'm glad all you :preggers: are doing well (that's a new smilie Woody added).

Of course I am NOT :preggers: but my cousin is with her first. She was 40 weeks as of yesterday (her due date) poor girl said the doc told her he/she isn't coming any time soon. She is still working (guess Monday is her last day). I can't WAIT to find out what she is having (she has no idea) and the name. Her hubby is a basket case and she is like "look, I'm going out and doing stuff instead of sitting at home" she said it is crazy she has energy and he doesn't. She tried for quite some time and had to go through 4 rounds of IUI and finally got :preggers: I'm so happy it finally took.

Wishing you all the best.

I am at 25 weeks and doing pretty good! I am exhausted by the end of the day though; I have been going to bed around 7:30 lately. Everything is going pretty well other then some back aches. I got really lucky and have so far missed this nasty bug that everyone around me caught and I am so grateful for that. I just wished time moved by faster! I am not a big fan of this pregnant thing :D Just give me the baby!

Hallie, i am so glad everything is ok! UTI's suck!!! You are so sweet to send something to us! We're excited!! :thumb4:

Ill give an update on Elizabeth..
We had her 2 week appointment today and everything went great! She gained 13 oz in a week! She is up to 8lbs 8 oz and is only gaining more! lol I call her my chubbs!
We had a litle issue with her belly button. I guess it didnt heal all the way so when i changed her this morning it had bled all the way through her onesie. So of course i freaked out and called my mom sobbing! i guess it turns out its pretty normal for it to bleed and the dr carterized it at her appt. I had my appt too and everything looks good with my incision. it still hurts and i still take things slow but i feel more mobile everyday!
I am so glad to here everyone is doing so well and cant wait for all these babies!!!!!!

Kat..I love your bedding!!:) Soooo cute!

I think I am 17 weeks...I guess I'll know when my sig pops up b/c I always forget what week I'm in. I started a new job almost 2 weeks ago and they still don't know i'm prego and I'm not sure when/how I'll tell them. I can't hide it much longer though b/c I started popping out last week and I guess I just look Fat now...ugh!
Yesterday I had a bad day--tired, feeling fat and uncomfy in my own body, just feeling miserable and wanting to never be prego again. Today is better but I wonder if I'll ever be one of those shiny happy prego people who are just lovin' life??!
My next appt is March 9th and then soon after that I'll have my ultrasound to determine the sex...I'm SO excited about that!!!;););):):):)

Ray-My Dh has to put on my socks every day since I was 21 weeks. . . you got it easy if now she is having trouble tie her shoes. I went to slip ons at 16 weeks. :floor

My appointment for the us went well today. Cervix is holding at 3.7 to 3.5 . I get to talk to the doctor tomorrow regarding everything else. I have 11 days until I am in the third trimester and am counting those days down. I will feel better at 28 weeks (Although I am pretty sure the comments will be worse by then) and 32 weeks and then 34 weeks. I just want to get to 34 weeks so if you have extra thoughts to spare please keep me in them.

See, I taught Olive how to take my socks off when I was pregnant w/ my son. It was the best 'trick' ever. Now both the dog and my son think it's a fun game to pull off mommy's socks LOL Although I won't be super pregnant until the summer...and at that point I won't even bother with socks...just good ol' flip flops.

Well, I just had my first ultrasound today and it was so amazing. :) I did find out that I'm 8 weeks and 1 day and my due date is now Oct 4th. I also was able to hear the baby's heart beat, which was a awesome experience. The Ultrasound tech said that the baby's heart beat was strong. I guess that's a good sign, I just want the baby to be healthy. :)

Ok here's my update. Leaving for the hospital at about 4:30am tomorrow. C-section is scheduled for 7:30 am, give or take a few a hours depending on the doctor's patients. If I make it that long....feeling pretty "end of pregnancy" the last few days! Will update you all when I get back.

By now, I hope I can say CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I hope everything went smoothly! :thumb4:

I went to the doctor on Friday and got to hear the baby's heartbeat. It was amazing. DH was a little bummed that he didn't go, but he said he will go next time.

Well, he'll have plenty of time - they listen at every visit from here on out....very exciting!

Oh I didn't know we get to listen everytime now:eek: How exciting!!!! I go back on Wed for my appt and then I can schedule the ultrasound to find out the sex.:whoo: I can't wait for that.

Does anyone feel like they don't eat enough? I'm still just not that hungry but I try to eat good stuff. So far today I've had yogurt, cottage cheese w/strawberries and a cookie. I guess it's time for lunch now but I'm not even hungry so I'll make myself eat something. Am I the only one?!?

And even now at almost 6 1/2 mths along I dont find that Im very hungry....I usually dont even eat anything until after noon or around 1pm. Then Ill eat lunch, be full till dinner, eat some dinner and maybe if Im feeling saucy have a snack after dinner, lol.....however, with my 2nd DS I ate EVERYTHING that wasnt nailed down. :floor

I've found that I'm not really hungry at all during my entire pregnancy. Guess that's what's keeping the weight gain down. When I do eat, it's whatever's paliatable (Sp?) and is in small portions.

Now moreso than any other time, I find that if I eat more than 1/2 a sandwich I'm in a coma (tired, really full feeling).

Not so much hot flashes but night sweats. OMG, they're terrible. I've woken up several times recently w/ my night shirt drenched in sweat. :o: I had the same thing happen after I delivered my son. My OB said it was normal and it would go away. And, it did. But I didn't have the night sweats while pregnant with him so this threw me for a loop.

The newest and latest most annoying thing in the world is waking up out of a dead sleep and being so restless you can't get back to sleep. I really hate it and usually take a field trip to the potty (even though I don't have the urge), just because I know I can. This usually happens about 1 hour into my sleep.

I've been getting leg cramps, mainly in my right leg. Was so bad yesterday I put heat on it and elevated it forever. It also falls asleep all the time to pins and needles but it's just that one darn leg.

I need to make a list of things for my Dr appt 2morrow..

Thanks Kat. I have been soooooo stressed out at work its insaine. These people can't seem to get it through their heads that I need to know when they are expecting guests etc. You would think a 40 + year old woman that has worked in many of a company would know that they have to let the front desk know whats going on.

I have another OB appointment March 9th & I am going to speak to her about the issues am having...the last time I spoke to her about it she suggested antidepressents but she really didn't want to go that route and nor do I. I spoken to my boss & HR and it just goes in one ear and out the other.

Crossing my fingers/toes that I can last another 6 months & we will be able to let me not work for a while.

When we were house hunting about 7 years ago, there was a house with central air (as they all are in Texas) that we looked at. It was August and the master bedroom had a window air conditioner in a window next to the bed. We speculated that maybe there had been something wrong with the AC. Having been there I joked that maybe the lady of the house was PG. Sure enough the next room we went into was a nursery. I though she must have been quite hot to go to that much trouble to stay cool at night. I also felt bad that her husband was transfered after she did the nursery, but before the baby came.

oh don't stress too much! Everything will work out fine in the end.

Just this past weekend we have everything arranged(furniture, nursery, etc.), well cept for Daycare and the Peditrician (I know who I'm using for that though, just need to make 1 phone call).

I looked at all my shower stuff on Saturday and just sat there thinking -where do I put all this stuff and what do I do with it??!

cry if you need to cry, take time out for yourself if you need to and if you feel like being crabby and unreasonable (I do often!), do it - your pregnant and it's a lot of work to be pregnant.....

Try having this when you are stressed at work and your normal - nonpregnant reaction is to cry when you get frustrated....cept now you are pregnant and you can't control it! I've cried 3 times at work so far since I've been pregnant.....

I lashed out at my poor DH for taking a comment his sister made to heart about her questioning what was on my registry.

I also wanted to punch her when she made some comment about how clumsy I was feeding my 7 mth old nephew a bottle, because he heard a noise and swung his head toward it. Yeah, like I'm a pro at feeding a baby (never had one before!).

Just a few examples. :D Normally I wouldn't care....

So this ultra i will be farther along and it might be easier to tell what the gender is. I am not sleeping very well at night. I have pillows all around me and I can't seem to get comfortable. I am also having lower back pain by the end of the day I am very tired. Glad everyone is checking in!!

I betcha it does subside for you. ;)

Today isnt nearly the emotional day yesterday was.....I think my case is related to PG hormones (DUH) and some of the other things I currently have on my plate.....each of them alone are likely easily delt with, but together make for an unstoppable combination of emotions.

Hope everyones Wednesday is a good one! :)

My DH and I are going to start trying this month. I started my period Wednesday so I counted 14 days and know that I'll be fertile around the 13th-ish.

Any "tips" ;) anyone can give us that worked for y'all? I'm going to the store this weekend to buy an ovulation kit. I don't want to get too crazy or stressed about it but I figured any little bit helps!

Everyones cycle can be different. I would suggest buying the ovulation predictor kits. Also a book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility is a good place to start. There is also a website called fertility friend that you might find useful. Good luck!

I had a MD appointment today - the MD was like why haven't we seen you since 2/20 - I reminded her that we were ok waiting 2 weeks and that this date was the best the front desk could do....she was cool with that.
Had my StrepB test today - that was fun and then I had my first exam of my cervix - that was EVEN more fun! Turns out that I'm all sealed up(no dialation) and firm....looks like this little boy is in it for the long haul! Oh well, I get a 2nd ultrasound on Monday (yipee!) so we see if my date is still standing.

Hi Kat--Happy Monday to u too!

Having quite a few issues with meltdowns this weekend. We went to Ikea w/my SIL & BIL and also her mom & dad--they were kind enough to buy the baby furniture for them. SIL dad decided we are going to this Italian resturant down the street--of course DH didn't tell me this . We sit down and am looking at the menu like BEEP i can't eat a single thing off of her cause everything will just upset my tummy. So I just started :cry2: I don't know if it was because I was tired & hungry or what. But man I just could stop. Yesterday (Sunday) DH was reading a article about how a man restored at Chevelle and how he had ups and downs with the car etc. (which is pretty much what we are going through with our 61 Falcon), and he had a little girl and he told her daddy that she was going to sit in the front now & mommy can't. Here comes the tears again!! Is it ever going to end???

**Edit to add: Friday was my 15 week apointment at the OB's. Me thinking ok, I will get right in again like i have in the past didn't take a lunch--its now 3:30 & am starving. The OB was so backed up I didn't see her till 4:30/5:00. My BP was sky high than I had to have 8 viles of blood taken which I now have a lovely bruise from the needle  *sigh* Ok...am done ranting now.

Thats pretty much how my weekend went--how about everyone else??

I finally went shopping Saturday to buy some clothes. Most of my pants do not fits. So now I have some clothes again to wear to work, that was my biggest concern since I have to wear business dress. I am only 13 weeks, but I feel huge already. This is also the first weekend in about 10 that I have actually felt pretty decent. I did 6 loads of laundry, grocery shopped, went shopping for clothes and curtains for my bedroom. I got a lot done and it felt great. I hope I can keep going like that for a while.

Target has a CUTE selection of pregancy dresses/business casual clothes. Someone also suggested to go to the big girl section-which I have been sneaking a peak in there lately for some cute tops-since my uhhmmms are so large & the bottom half isn't as big. *sigh*.

Fri was up from 2-4:30am
Sun was up from 3:30-4ish am

I can't stand it-it burns and is so uncomfortable and when I burp I feel better for a second and then BAM it's worse, totally forgot to call the Dr today to ask what else I can take to help me. Tums just aren't doing the trick.

Maybe the baby will utilize my extra weight I don't want. ;) lol j/k My Dr. also used a doppler on me for the first time. My Dr. kept telling me that we probably won't hearing anything, but he was wrong. My little peanut's heart beat was nice and strong. He also told me how lucky I am. He's said I was doing great for being in the first trimester. I told him that I hope the next 2 trimesters goes just as well.. But I have a feeling it probably won't.. lol

a glass of oj and she/he will be rocking and a rolling about 45 minutes before the appointment. That is what I did and they got really good shots of her spine (which I was hoping for)

As for me I have (drum roll please). . . . .another UTI!!!! This makes four!!!! Just got back from the doctor and this is what they told me. I was like I have to pay 30 bucks for this when I already knew this?? Oh well better safe then sorry I guess.

Feeling tired and icky - I'm going to start working from home on Thursday until this little man is born!

Have my MD appointment on Thursday - we'll see if there is any progress, which really means nothing anyway - until you have signs (like labor!). :D

I'm telling myself everything, just so I don't get too anxious - only 10 days til my due date....

I still need to wash a some outfits and bottles and pack my hospital bag and get some slippers and the Nurse practitioner warned me that the hospital doesn't supply very good feminine products - so I'll have to get me some of them. Plus I have to go purchase my breast pump (keeping that bad boy boxed in case the BF doesn't take).

so much to do and SO little time!! Oh, I guess I should work on my taxes too! ;)

Work isn't helping much working 50-70 hour weeks the past 4-5 weeks!

So, I'm trying to keep my cool and not stress out, because I don't want little man coming sooner than he should, even though I know he'll be fine if I delivery now.

I hope everyone else is doing good!

The OB scared the daylights outta me by calling my cell phone this afternoon . Of course I couldn't grab it because I had a visitor at the front desk . But it was all good news, the blood work for downs & spinabifda (sp?) were good. No positives at all! Everyone is realved to say the least. :ibow

Friday April 6th is when we find out what we are having (ehhumm girl) . Than its our regular OB appointment Saturday 7th. For Easter Sunday if she is nice & shows herself we will be putting a little card/gift together for my parents & inlaws

Other than that all is good....minus not being able to find anything to wear  to big for my clothes and to small for maturnaty clothes. Any suggestions ladies??

Sounds like you have siatica (sp?) If you feel comfortable enough to do this get on all fours, put one leg in the air and back down, repeat this 5 times with each leg. Lay down on your back with a pillow supporting your head. Bend your leg and cross over with your knee bent repeat 5 times and do the other side. This should releave some of the pain.

Oh yeah he's an active baby which is amazing just because he's still so small. It's crazy to think how little he is and how much I feel him:angel:

The first time I think I was 16.5 weeks and I felt him 2 times in a row. It felt like going down a hill really fast when your stomach jumps:eek: :D It was really weird and pretty cool. I didn't feel him for another week or so but the last 2 weeks he's been moving a lot.

DH has felt him move and kick just a few times. Usually when his hand is on my belly lil' Easton decides not to move:p:  HAHA

The ultrasound tech said she felt him moving a lot when she had the thingy(whatever it's called) moving over my stomach:)

Well, I'm doing GREAT!! Sometimes I even forget that I'm pregnant. I just feel like I'm not having any signs and symptoms.. But I do have one concern.. When I found out I was expecting, I couldn't stop eating. I seemed to be alway hungry. But lately, I have not been that hungry.. I have to force myself to eat.. Is that normal? I'm also not as tired anymore.. :thumb4: Which makes it easier for me when I work the night shifts.. Also, a week ago I had a visit with my doctor and we were able to hear the baby's heart beat by using a Doppler.. My next doctors appointment is April 9th and I can't wait to hear the heart beat again.. :)

I went from morning sickness straight through this entire pregnance - throwing up each morning. It wasn't until the last 3-4 weeks that it's only about 3-4 days. However, since Saturday I've been feeling really nauseous and have had no appetite and I have to force myself to eat. Last night was REALLY bad...thought it was time, but no contractions, thank god! I needed to get some loose ends tied up at work, so luckily he waited!!

It is a VERY VERY sweet juice. It comes in different flavors if that makes it sounds any more pleasant :D Mine was fruit punch! It is almost like drinking syrup. They make you drink it then take a blood sample to make sure you are not getting gestational diabetes. You will probably get it around 28 weeks. It wasn't tooooooooo bad :thumb4: I would have taken another glass of it over the rogham shot any day... I HATE needles! YUCK!

Mine was orange and it was gross. Remember when you go to the MD office MAKE SURE you tell the front desk and if they still haven't called you in 10 minutes before you pass the 1 hour mark, make sure you tell someone again - you DON'T want to have to do it again - like me....

It's especially gross bc it is super sweet (mine was orange--like drinking flat Orange Crush with 5 x the sugar) and you have to drink it on an empty stomach. But it is not that bad.

It's not really THAT bad, just put it in the freezer for a little bit before drinking it to get it really cold and it'll go down nicely.

Yeah well I wasn't feeling well(MS) the afternoon I went in to do mine and I was concentrating on not throwing up and lost track of time, so they missed my window. I cried at that appointment, BP was up, couldn't settle down - rather bad experience!

So, they had me come in the next morning at 8:30am (more MS) to re-do it.

I just had(have) MS all the time, so drinking that stuff wasn't helping anything for me.....

I went to the doctor yesterday. I will be 15 weeks tomorrow and they said everything looks good so far. I go again in 4 weeks and will hopefully find out the sex. I can't believe that time is almost here. It seems to be going by really fast. I haven't bought anything yet so I will have a lot to do the last half of this pregnancy. Surgery went longer and was harder than they expected, apparently there was calcification that they had to scrap away. I didn't have to get any pins or rods, they just went in and cut away some of my bone to ease the pressure on my nerve.

:smile Does your peanut pefer to when your sleeping on one side or the other?

Is it safe for pregnant ladies to sleep on their backs??

You are usually safe to sleep on your side until around the 18th week or something like that, after you are 'sposed to sleep on your side. :)

My little man doesnt like it when I lay on my back - hes all kinds of wiggly. :floor Or if I sit up "straight" on the couch or something, he starts pounding my ribs with his feet, seeing as hes already head down and not liking it I guess. :floor

Is it comfy for you? I have to sleep propped up on 2 pillows. If I sleep on my back it's like someone is knocking the wind out of me and I can't breathe.

Yeah me too. Although I like to lay on my back and watch the alien as he moves around in my tum. :floor

 I haven't seen the alien yet!! That will be really crazy! He's getting stronger every day though and now you can see my stomach move and jump through my shirt:D

I AM soooooo moody--even the cat made me mad this morning! Getting a lot more of an appetite these days and gaining some lbs...besides that all is well:rolleyes: :p:

Yeah right now it literally looks all kinds of alien-ish....when you get closer to the end and theres less room you can actually see teeny tiny foot or hand move around under your skin. ;) Bizarre, but SO cool. :)

Am going to talk to the OB next Saturday to see what i can do to stop sleeping on my back-or at least stop tossing a turning. She/He doesn't like it when I sleep on my left side I get really sharp pains in my ribs. Can't wait to see this little peanut that keeps poking and not liking sleeping on the side. :floor
