Lucky the 15 yr old lab, needs help FAST

If you can help, please contact dsanville6@comcast.net.

This girl was left behind by her owners and taken in by her daughter-in-law, who is moving and cannot keep her. The daughter in-law contacted dsanville6@comcast.net and begged for help finding this gal a retirement home. Please if you can help, please let them know. Please feel free to crosspost to anyone who can help.

We can't let this old gal end up in a shelter! She is located in PA- near the Bethlehem area.

Good God. I just did a mapquest to see how far she is from me--which county is the Bethlehem she is in in?

2 Results for bethlehem, pa:

1. Bethlehem, PA, US
Northampton County
2. Bethlehem, PA, US
Clearfield County
If it's the first one she's only about 2 hours from me. I would be willing to go get her and drive her anywhere.....WHERE is the problem. The people who left her are heartless.

It's probably the first one, which is right by Allentown, short drive to the Poconos, Philly, NJ.
Poor old gal. :(

If a transport can be set up to bring her to Missouri I'll take her as long as she is cat/dog friendly.

I'm 45 minutes west of St Louis.

I emailed them earlier, right before I posted here.

I'm quite serious about it, and wouldn't make an offer I wouldn't stick to. I e-mailed them this thread as well.

With luck, for Lucky - perhaps things could work out.

Thanks for e-mailing them for Lucky. NYMare, I believe it is, lives 2 hrs. from Bethlehem, PA where Lucky is. That's best in terms of being close.

I emailed the person trying to help "Lucky" (OF COURSE!) about our idea and this was her reply:

Hi Marilyn-

I am waiting to hear back from Lucky's people- there was a potential home in NJ but I don't know what happened.

As soon as I find out I will let you know. This poor girl deserves a nice retirement home.

Debbie

(NJ sure would be easier than MO!)--Mare

I just got home and checked my e-mail:

Hi Jessica-

We may have found a home for her locally.

Debbie

...

If that doesn't work out, I have vacation days left, so I could plan on travelling with them.

If anything, there is http://www.acmepettransport.com that we could try to get a ride with.
