I'm just looking for ideas. So far, we've used peanut butter, yogurt, dog treats and carrots. What do you put in your dog's Kong?

What do you put in your dog's Kong? Mom2labs 11-23-2008, 01:21 PM Just about anything. Apple pieces, green beans, banana, small cookies, any veggie. We also freeze them. Didn't know if you did that. Slow Hand Luke 11-23-2008, 01:27 PM I mix plain yogurt with joe's oh's(trader joe's brand of cheerios)stuff a kong or two and freeze them,it takes him longer to finish it when I freeze them,a very low calorie snack. LillyLab 11-23-2008, 06:24 PM I've used all of the above (except for the cheerios)...I've also used diced peach pieces with the yogurt... I usually top it off with a some honey & then freeze it...I know the honey is pure sugar, but if it's local & & small amounts it's good for allergies...a friend of a friend told me about this one, her friend breeds & shows running Salukis & they use honey with their dogs in their regular diet... |
