I started Bailey on Wellness. He loves it. I like that it's made by Mother Hubbard. The switch had been made- he's been on total new food for about 3 days. I don't mind the large stool volume. However- I think the farts may make me pass out!:D Holy Smokes!!! And how come he seems to do it mostly just as we cuddle up in bed for the night. Please- someone tell me this might go away.

Our dog Sierrra was on Wellness for about 14 months. had no problem with gas except the first few weeks til she got used to the new food and if we added things to her kibble. Also she had bad gas on the Lamb & Rice for some reason. Otherwise, it was not a problem at all.

Her coat is gorgeous, soft - we were very happy with Wellness! Unfortunately Sierra may have a problem with grains so we are now on Natural Bal Duck & Pot. Sierra has tried all 3 kinds of Wellness.

What are you giving, chicken, lamb or fish?

Which Wellness, Jenn? My boys stink like poo if they eat Lamb and Rice.

They both got really itchy on Wellness chicken.

It's a good food, just doesn't work for my guys.

He's eating the chicken. And loving it, so far. He was on Diamond Lamb for a while while he was a puppy and I don't think it agreed with him. I like the idea of him being on a chicken, so we;ll see how it goes.

The gas may just be part of the transition, too. What did you switch him from? I didn't notice exceptional stool volume when we were on Wellness Chicken (we went from Wellness to Eagle Pack and THAT gave them huge stool volume).

He was on Nutro- and he was doing great on it- he just stopped eating it.

Emma is on the Wellness Whitefish and Sweetpotato and i don't find her gasy at ALL...and she ADORES it...

We had our boys on Chicken Soup and my god the gas and the stools were so bad they could choke a horse, we switched to Solid Gold Wolf Cub and they are less gassy but produce larger and more stools plus no more dead horses....lol
