My SIL does work for a guy who has horse barns. One day she noticed the light was on in the 2nd barn but nobody had been in there since she got there (and the light was off). She walked in to notice approx. 5 month old all white male Pitbull. He was just dropped off in the stall by somone. They left a small bag of food and a leash/harness. He has a good temperment and is very sweet. The homeowners do not want the dog but are hesitant to give it to the SPCA as it doesn't have good odds of being adopted.
The dog is located just north of Cincinnati, Ohio. Email Kashcraft@printmgmt.com for contact information.

Contact some of the bully breed rescues in your area. Please don't take this beautiful dog to the pound. His future will be at risk.

There is also Smilin' Pit Bull Rescue in New York. The fellow that runs it is totally devoted to the breed and their safety. The girl I work with has adopted two from him and I was very impressed by the thorough research he does before letting a dog go to a home.
