For what it's worth TinyPic is owned by Photobucket, wonder if they'll go to a paid service someday as well.

So far I haven't been bitten by the ransom bug at Photobucket, but I have always used a paid tier, guess they'll hit me when my current subscription is up.

I'm in the same boat. I haven't decided which one to try next--it took me so long to even learn how to use PhotoBucket years ago, I'd be embarrassed to say how long! Not a techie here, so don't know when I'll ever be able to post pics again! I have a friend who was using Picasa, but then she said it became a pain. Now she has just been using Google photos, but she only puts her pics on emails, & I'm sure she doesn't share them on any forums. There is also Shutterfly, which some people seem to like....

Rats! You all know me, it took me forever to learn now to post pictures from Photobucket. Now I'll have to learn something new. Glad to hear about this ahead of time.

Another free easy to use photo share is Postimage.org

Unlike Photobucket you don't have storage space but they will convert any image to a link usable in forums like this, simply upload your photo.

Very tardy update. Settled on Shutterfly, I sometimes do photo albums. We will do a calendar of our monthly photo shoots and Shutterfly seemed like the best place.
