Woody, I did manage to use imgur to post that one photo but it was not easy and I'm not sure I can do it again.
Is there a file size or pixel size restriction? I thought I saw one somewhere. I use a Mac computer. In the Preview program I can reduce the file size from 1.8 MB to 46 KB and the pixels down to 360x480 but it will still not upload. Below tells the properties of the photo file I'm trying to upload. I get the message "Upload of file failed" for the photo. Any thoughts on why is isn't working?
Ugh, my screenshot .pdf of the properties won't show up either.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

Imgur is really easy.
Hit New Post in the top left corner.
Drop and drag your photo into the box in the middle of the screen,
When it uploads copy the image url and paste it into the From URL box in the Insert Image.
I posted a help question on a VBulletin form and will wait to see if somebody knows what is happening.
I posted on a help forum and all of the settings I was told to check appear to be correct.
One person mentioned switching browsers.
I am using Firefox and Chrome and both appear to be working.
I was also able to upload the photo that Shelley sent me.
I am still at a loss....
I did upload the photo, copied the url in imgur and pasted it just as you described. I guess the file size was too large and it wouldn't insert the image to the board. If I upload the original photo to imgur, edit it by selecting the Advanced option, imgur automatically resizes the photo to a more manageable size. Without doing any further cropping, I am then able to copy the image (right click on a non-Mac?) and paste it directly into my post without copying and pasting the url. Whatever it takes.
