    Home cooked

I started Diggity on home cooked meals using Dr Harvey’s Raw Vibrance base mix. I’m adding ground beef as the protein and yogurt and cottage cheese for extra calcium and protein. He also gets supplements, such as fish oil and glucosamine. I’ll rotate the protein to include turkey and chicken. So far he’s doing well on it. I’m only doing one meal a day as I work through his remaining kibble. Anyone think there are issues with a mixed diet of kibble for breakfast and home cooked for dinner for a few weeks or even longer?

Not at all. Lots of people do that. My neighbour has to get out of the house to work early and feeds kibble to her crew in the morning because it's faster.

Thanks. I was hoping that was the case. That certainly gives me more options!
