Pork is one of our staples, and yes, you can feed pretty much everything from a pig: Feet, shoulder, neck, head (whole or in parts cheek,jowl, etc), ribs, roast, rump, tails, etc. As mentioned above, I also stick with farm raised pork (even though I'm in hog country) because wild boar are notorious for various parasites/diseases that can withstand freezing. Another reason it is cheaper to feed pork is because pigs are less expensive to raise and take less time to mature/make decent market weights, than cattle.

I am not sure where you are located, but make sure you check around for RAW co-ops in your area (if you haven't already). You will be able to buy in bulk at very reasonably prices and generally have food ordered in a timely manner, which helps cut costs and time.
