So, the wood is somewhat common with him.

He receives 1.5 lbs of meat per day along with 1/2c veggies and yogurt. I did up the veggies for him because his poops were a little too hard. So that may have bulked things up. Up until this week, the poops were smaller, harder, lighter, no mucus. I did start feeding more organ meats this week. The mucus is really new.

Oh, and this is Sam's, not Linus' poop.

We are probably moving to raw ourselves so your progress is interesting. Feel free to post more poop photos.
We had firehose poop this week, too. With the other dog.

I think that poop looks ok but maybe a little too much. How much do you feed him per meal? We found we were feeding way too much when we first started raw. We followed the guidelines by size and activity level. We slowly lowered the amount to almost half that amount. I have noticed if we overfeed they can get softer poop.

Since I bag by a days' worth of weight, he gets approximately .75 lbs per meal. His weight is great. And the amount of food hasn't changed, just a little less bone. I went with the more bone in the very beginning plan to help with the poops. He also usually poops once a day now versus 2-3 times.
