Bearbuddymarie, I've been thinking about what I'd do if my dog was a senior and had laryngeal paralysis..I feed raw now but I would switch to home cooking and do as Charlotte K. posted. Although raw is easier than home cooking it wouldn't be if I had to mince all the raw meat myself (I don't buy any pre-made raw) and if I was restricted in not giving bones (I don't give any supplements). I think I would have more control in minimizing the risk of choking or aspiration also and would just feel more comfortable with a cooked crockpot stew, puréed veges, plain yogurts etc....and it it would be simpler for me.
all the best.

Thanks everyone for the input, at this time I am
leaning towards the frozen prepared as it includes
everything and is easiest at this point in time.

update, got Bravo, Buddy wont eat it raw, so I have to lightly cook it !
Going to try Darwin next.................
I don't think it has to do with the brand. Some dogs that have never eaten raw before are confused. It smells different. Cooked meat definitely has a stronger smell.
Instead of cooking it, have you tried mixing it with something, like chicken broth.
