I don't get any comments from my family but I have from the vet. One of them at the clinic was not at all certain it was a good idea and was relieved that I did not feed him only raw but also included grain free high quality food at the end of the day. I do expect them to judge me for spending money to take my old boy to a vet versed in eastern medicine for the reaccurance of the spindle cell tumor on his right frint leg. As a friend of mine said to me tonight about this "you have experienced so much loss in the past year and have had so many any losses in the past 10 years, I think you need to do everything possible not to lose your dog, too.

Nope! For us, raw brought back one of our dogs from the brink of death; he's the healthiest he's ever been. This particular dog can NOT eat kibble; so there IS no room for argument - it's just that. He gets raw, period!
I don't leave my dogs with anyone though; don't trust anyone personally.
