Chicken and vegetable casserole using whole chicken to get as much of the nutrients for healthy joints from the bones. All cooked bones discarded after cooking is complete. Once the dish is cooled all ingredients are blended.

Some dogs go to the vet's for teeth cleaning using machines and synthetic substances.

My dog much prefers a raw meaty bone for breakfast for a good teeth cleaning, not to forget a good work out for the upper body, neck, shoulders and jaw, and the absolute contentment of crunching and grinding that cannot be achieved by eating kibble.

An update! The lamb neck in the last post was about 400gms, usually I get them about 120gms to 200gms approx. Anyhow tonight my lab went to poop and let out a baby cry and passed one small poop! She is such a softy that she went quite submissive? or shy and came to me for a cuddle and scratch on her tummy immediately following this episode.

I was really happy with the size and the amount of meat on this neck, she actually spent a good solid 2 hours on it. However, the baby cry is enough for me and so tomorrow she can have some muscle meat and veges. She usually has chicken frames, necks, wings etc which are very easy!

Honestly I really don't know how some owners care for their dogs that are in constant pain or discomfort....somehow they get right inside our hearts so quickly...her little cry tonight has me thinking the short time they live and the heartbreak that comes with it.
