Oh my gosh. How big is a lamb neck? That must have been a freaky one off? Is her dog ok?
A lady in my agility class who feeds PMR had to have her border-collie mix sliced open due to an obstruction. Lamb neck was the culprit. Please be aware if you feed these.

That is quite scary. Any chance you know of this dog is a gulper?

That is scary...I've fed them to mine with no issues
Scary! My boys ate lamb necks for years, until I moved and could no longer source them. The ones I got ranged from the size of a large man's fist to the size of both my fists together. We never had any issues with them, or anything raw for that matter.

No one said it can't happen. It can, but it's really rare. Same thing with kibble and bloat. You don't think your dog will bloat when you put kibble in his bowl.
With that said, always supervise the dog when you are feeding bones. If the dog gulps his food, chances are he will swallow a big piece and get obstructed.
