Big game sunday night

Could be first loss for the colts , who do you like better Brady or Manning. I think the Patriots will win by at least 10 with banged up 2ndary of the colts.

I am not a big NE fan so I thought the ending was pretty exciting - I bet Bill is seriously regretting that call!

I would have enjoyed watching the game, I heard it was close and how the Colts won. I was too tired to stay up and watch it. I was just happy the Panthers got a win.

I t shouldnt have come down to that call, the Patriots had the ball inside the 5 twise and fumbled in the end zone and got intercepted in the endzone. They left 14 points on the goal line. Was a very good game even so.

Though it ripped my heart out, it WAS a good game and a good ending, with a very interesting and probably correct call on Belichecks' part .(And no, I don't drink the Kool-Aid.)
There is a reason that Pats Colts is scheduled for the 9th week each year (past 4 years) even though they are not in the same division. Baseball has just ended, its time to get serious and get the audience worked up..
But I do think that coaches should be rethinking going for it on 4th. They never do it from midfield because "if you fail, the other team has great field position.'
Sure, but if you succeed, YOU have great field position!
The days of Parcell's Giants vs Gibbs' Pedskins and 16-12 games where field position is everything are gone. These days its about number of possessions.

Belichek knew Falk would be loosely covered in the flat, that it was a 2 yard pitch and catch with probably a 90% chance to end the game. It worked, he had the first down, but the Indy guy made an extraordinary play, knocked the ball slightly ajar while pushing him back over the line.
Sometimes you just have to take your hat off and give the other guy credit. And give Bill credit for the guts to give his team the best chance to win, even if it meant risking serious scorn, as he is getting. - Dr. Mac

if NE had converted on that 4th down attempt - everyone would have praised Belicheck. I think it was a risky call but Belicheck did not have much fair in his defense and if NE had converted the game would have been over.

All and all it was a great game, possibly best of the entire season. We will see!
