Here are a couple:
http://www.getrecipe.com/RECIPE.ASP?ID=209 I made this one too - without the sugar and used Whole Wheat Flour: DOGGIE BIRTHDAY CAKE 2 c. flour 2 (6 oz.) cans Hi Protein dog food 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. oil 4 eggs 4 tsp. baking powder Milk - enough for batter consistency Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes in 9 x 13 inch pan. Recipe can be "halved" for smaller cake. What about allergies???

Yogurt - Yup, plain...if you want you can put a touch of honey in it.
WARNING - the cake with dog food stinks when you cook it. Healthy treats...Figured I'd post for others to view: http://www.getrecipe.com/RECIPE.ASP?ID=73 and these, but I'd omit the wheat germ: Daisy's Delights This recipe was provided by the Pets Are Loving Support (P.A.L.S.) organization in Charlotte, NC with the permission of Karen Williams and "Lucy & Gabe". Daisy found a recipe for a turkey loaf that might satisfy the most finicky of pooches. 1 pound ground turkey 1 cup cooked brown rice 1 egg beaten 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley 3 tbsp. wheat germ 1/2 cup carrots 2 tbsp. minced garlic Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Put into a lightly greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes or until done. Serve slices over dry dog food. Note: Fresh garlic is good for the skin, helps repel fleas and aid digestion; parsley will take care of the breath! Or these too!: Peanut Brindle 5 cups rice flour 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup peanuts (chop) In a bowl, mix all ingredient except chopped peanuts together thoroughly. Set aside. 1 egg 1/4 cup honey 1/4 cup peanut butter 1 small apple 1/2 cup vegetable oil 2 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1 1/2 cup water In a food processor, add the above ingredients and blend together. When mixture is thoroughly blended, add to the bowl of dry ingredients. Combine and turn our on a lightly floured surface. Place a piece of plastic wrap on top of dough then roll out dough to 1/4 - inch thickness. Remove the plastic wrap ans score dough into 4 by 3-inch rectangles. Spritz the top of the rectangles with water and sprinkle chopped peanuts over them. Press the chopped peanuts int the dough with the palm of your hand. Bake at 325 degrees F for 50 to 60 minutes. Yield: 12 to 14 pieces |
