Thanks Jen - I ended up giving her bread and slippery elm. When I spoke to the vet she said it was likely an irritation in her throat. She said as long as she was playing, eating, drinking and pooping - it was probably just fine and she recommended giving slippery elm. So I was doing the right thing. She seems fine tonight.
